Inflatables We Inspect
From bouncy castles to giant slides, assault courses to bungee runs — if it inflates, we can inspect it to BSEN14960-2019 standard.
Comprehensive Inspection Across All Inflatable Types
Our RPII accredited inspectors are trained to test the full range of commercial inflatables used by hire businesses, leisure centres, schools, and showmen across Scotland. Every unit we inspect is assessed against the BSEN14960-2019 standard — the UK's benchmark for inflatable play equipment safety.
Bouncy Castles
The most common inflatable in the hire industry. We inspect all sizes and styles of bouncy castle, from compact units for indoor use to large outdoor castles. Checks cover the inflatable fabric, seams, anchor points, blower connections, and all safety features.
- Standard bouncy castles
- Themed bouncy castles
- Indoor compact castles
- Large outdoor castles
- Toddler bouncy castles
Inflatable Slides
Slides present unique inspection challenges due to their height and the forces involved in use. We assess the slide lane, side walls, landing zone, and all structural elements to ensure safe operation.
- Single-lane slides
- Double and multi-lane slides
- Giant mega slides
- Wet slides and water slides
- Pool Inflatable & Accessories
Assault Courses & Obstacle Courses
Assault courses are complex multi-element units requiring thorough inspection of every section. We check all obstacles, tunnels, climbing walls, slides, and connecting sections for wear, damage, and structural integrity.
- Inflatable assault courses
- Obstacle courses
- Ninja warrior-style courses
- Multi-lane race courses
- Obstacle systems
Combo Units
Combination inflatables that feature a bouncy area plus slide, or multiple play elements in one unit. We inspect each element individually as well as the connections and transitions between sections.
- Castle and slide combos
- Bouncy castle with tunnel
- Multi-activity combo units
- Toddler combo units
- Indoor combo inflatables
Bungee Runs & Interactive Games
Interactive inflatable games require specialist inspection of the bungee harness attachment points, side walls, and play surface. We ensure all interactive elements meet the required safety standards.
- Bungee runs
- Sumo suits arenas
- Gladiator jousting units
- Inflatable sports arenas
- Wipeout-style units
Inflatable Tents & Structures
Inflatable structures used as event shelters, marquees, or display units are also covered under our inspection service. We assess the structural integrity, anchoring systems, and fabric condition.
- Inflatable event tents
- Inflatable marquees
- Inflatable arches
- Inflatable display structures
- Inflatable shelters
